Saviours of Islamic Spirit (originally Tarikh-i Dawat wa Azimat) is a five-volume work by the renowned Indian Islamic scholar Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi. First published in Urdu between 1955 and 1984, the book offers a comprehensive historical account of Islamic revivalists and reformers from the 1st to the 12th century AH. It highlights the contributions of figures such as Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, Hasan al-Basri, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Al-Ghazali, Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, Rumi, Ibn Taymiyyah, and Shah Waliullah Dehlawi. The work emphasizes the continuous efforts of these individuals in preserving and revitalizing the Islamic spirit through knowledge, piety, and action. In 1999, it received the Sultan Brunei International Award from the University of Oxford.
